Canada's men's U-20 team announced its roster today in anticipation of its friendly match against six-time FIFA U-20 World Cup champions Argentina this Sunday. Canada will have 19 players in camp under coach Ray Clark for the week leading up to the anniversary rematch at BMO Field this 11 May.

Selected to the camp is 18 year old Derek Gaudet of Bayside, NS. Derek currently plays for Halifax Dunbrack in the NSSL Premiership Men's Division.

Tickets to the international friendly, a match produced by Gebka's Co., are available through ticketmaster.ca. The match kicks off at 16.00 in Toronto, ON.

Last 11 May 2007, Canada lost 1:2 to Argentina in the official opening of BMO Field. Just over two months later on 22 July in the FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007 final at BMO Field, Argentina won its sixth world title.

Nana Attakora-Gyan (Orangeville, ON), Gabe Gala (Brampton, ON) and Marcus Haber (Vancouver, BC) are all back from last year's roster, a Canadian team that featured players born 1987 or later. This year's roster features players born 1989 or later as the team begins its preparations for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Egypt 2009.
