CARSON, Calif. -- Four LA Galaxy players have been called up to international duty for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The Galaxy will be without David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Ante Jazic (Bedford, NS) and Eddie Lewis for Saturday night's game against Real Salt Lake. All four players joined up with their national teams following the Galaxy's 2-2 draw in New England on Saturday and are expected to be back in Los Angeles ahead of the Sept. 13 match in Kansas City.

Donovan and Lewis will be with the U.S. for a pair of games as they play in Cuba on Saturday before hosting Trinidad and Tobago at Toyota Park in Chicago on Wednesday. Both players started for the U.S. in the 1-0 win in Guatemala on August 20 and are currently in Miami training with the rest of the U.S. squad. They will travel down to Havana later in the week ahead of Saturday's game before traveling to Chicago after the game.

That pair will be joined in CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying by Jazic who is with Canada for their games against Honduras in Montreal on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Mexico in Chiapas on Sept. 10. The 32-year old defender was last with his National Team in early June when he scored his first-ever goal for Canada in a 2-2 draw with Panama.

Beckham rounds out the international quartet as he joins the England National Team as they start their World Cup Qualifying campaign with road games against Andorra and Croatia. Beckham, who has 103 career appearances for England, could move into a tie with Billy Wright for fourth place in England history in appearances if he plays on both of the games on Saturday and Wednesday.
